Tony D'Onofrio

Tony D’Onofrio is CEO of the consultancy firm TD Insights where he is recognized as a global social media influencer in retail, security, and emerging technologies.

Tony is consistently listed as a Top Global Retail Influencer and publishes on multiple global platforms. His futurist views have been shared on stages in the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

In support of his TD Insights leadership role, Tony continues to advise a very select list of private equity portfolio companies with focus on technologies such as GPS, RFID, and visual artificial intelligence, mentors Silicon Valley California start-up companies, and is on the board the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) Board of Advisers co-located at the University of Florida.

Tony’s previous position was Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of Tyco Retail Solutions (now Sensormatic), a $1 billion division of Johnson Controls (JCI). As CCO, he was responsible for revenue growth of global retailers, global accounts management programs, recurring source tagging models for EAS / RFID, creating and managing “as a service” revenue models, and global marketing.

Tony’s career has included executive roles in both security and information technologies companies. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (BA) and Cleveland State University (MBA) in USA.
